Lancome gift with purchase at The Bay 2011

Hello lovelies,

It's time for another gift with purchase, from Lancome (July 7- 31). all the details are shown at the picture below. I really don't care that much about Lancome and honestly for someone like me ( not being a fan and all)  I have a tons of Lancome products sitting in my drawer; I think they are really overpriced (I tried their foundation, eye-shadow paletts, lipsticks and lipgloss, mascara). although I must say I love their perfume specially Hypnôse Senses Eau de parfum. their new collection which is coming in September I guess is just gorgeous and I have my eyes on this blush. so I won't be buying anything this time but if you're a Lancome fan or need something it's a good time to check your Lancome counters.

Clinique Bonus Time at The Bay ( from Feb. 9th to Feb. 27th)

A few days a go I got this in my mail box. It is a special bonus that is offered at Clinique counters at "The Bay" here in Canada. They offer gift with purchase of 26 $ and more. 

It is done 2 times a year ( I'm not sure though maybe more, but now I remember 2 times). one in February and one in summer times. There are other stores like "Holt Renfrew", Ogilvy and Sears. But there purchase limit is higher ( around 35$) and  honestly the gift is better. Usually if I want to get something for my self or for someone else as a gift I shop when they have gift offers cause by that  I can test some of their products and see If I want to get them next time. and getting gift always feels good specially when it comes in those nice make up bags ;)

With their bonus announcements comes a little and nice catalogue where they describes some of their best selling or new products. To be honest, Clinique is a hit and miss brand for me. some of their products I LOVE and repurchase but some of them were really a waste of money for me. 

I looked at the products and first of all the catalogue itself is very beautiful, fresh and gives the feeling of summer:)  there are 2 products that caught my attentions and here they are:
-Clinique Redness solution: Make up SPF15 with Probiotic Technology and redness vanishes instantly. In 4 weeks you'll see noticeably less redness even after you take it off ( all written from catalogue). 
-Clinique even better skin tone correcting moisturizer SPF20 ( this one will come in the gift bag, so I can try the small package and see if it works on me I would go get the big one)
So now, I have just one product on my wish list, not sure to get it though, we'll see. 

On the subject of Clinique products, I decided to write about the products that I loved or hated form Clinique, so far. I already wrote a review on their acne skin (link here). but there are still some others that I used, or maybe there are some that you used and could  tell me your opinions on them. so I will start a Clinique series.

Beyond the Rack- let's shop !

Hello lovelies, today I want to talk about this cool website that I discovered almost a year ago

What is the BTR :
it is an online discount store  ( not quite like other stores) that each day offer discounts on special brands and each of the events are open for a few days. it has everything form clothing ( women, men and kids), jewelery, accessories ( sunglasses, bags, wallets, belts,...), electronics stuff and lots more from brands like YSL, coach, Dior, Marc Jacob...

How it works: 
if you're a member of the site you would receive emails from them about the events of the day, which usually opens at 11:00 am (eastern time). at the beginning, all the events opened at 11:00 but now they have some events opening at 17:00 (eastern time) too, which are usually called 5ive at 5.
look for those (5ive at 5) cause you could get some pretty good deals there.
when the events starts you could see the stuff that are available for sale, you choose the items and it goes to your shopping bag, you will have 20 minutes to do checkout and pay for the items, otherwise it will go back on the website.

Good to know:
1-some of the stuff are available in very limited quantities (like 5 or 7), so they go very very fast ( few seconds after the events start). so if you think you like something, don't hesitate and put in in your shopping bag, you would have 20 minutes to decide.

2- when you buy a stuff, they BTR people send your order to the supplier ( they don't have the stuff back at their offices). this leads me to the next point.

3- the shipping time; as I said in the last one, the supplier recieve the order from BTR, and they ship the items to the BTR and then they will send them to you. so it will take long time to receive your shopping stuff.
sometimes I really forgot what I bought from them (took over a month), however  sometimes you will receive fast. so there is no general rule on that but be aware.
so beware if you need something in urgent, don't get it from the website cause you probably won't get it in time.

4- you can return your items to them if you don't like them, you have to pay for the shipping though. they will not return your money to your credit card but they give you credit for shopping in BTR only.

5- to be a member of the website, you can register in their waiting list or get invited by someone.that specific person gets credits of 10$ for 10 friends invitation.

so if you're interested you could use the link below, to register or you could register on their waiting list , I don't know how long it will take to get in without invitation really.
